We are conducting a retained executive search for a Chief Financial Officer to join a leading organisation based in Galway. This is a rare opportunity to take a board-level finance leadership role within a high-growth company.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will have full responsibility for the financial leadership and strategy of the organisation. You will partner closely with the board and senior leadership team to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function and develop a high-performing team
- Own the financial planning, analysis and reporting process
- Drive strategic financial decisions supporting business growth
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, banks and investors
- Oversee risk management, treasury, and compliance
- Lead M&A activity and commercial negotiations
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum 10+ years post-qualification experience
- Previous CFO or Finance Director experience preferred
- Strong commercial acumen with M&A experience advantageous
- Exceptional leadership and influencing skills
