A leading West of Ireland group is seeking a Group Financial Controller to take ownership of all group financial reporting and controls. This is a high-impact role with excellent prospects for progression to Finance Director level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of group consolidated financial statements
- Manage the month-end close process across multiple entities
- Own the statutory audit process and relationship with external auditors
- Develop and maintain a robust internal controls framework
- Lead a team of 5 across financial accounting and reporting
- Support the CFO with technical accounting and M&A queries
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with 6+ years PQE
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/FRS102)
- Experience in a group or multi-entity environment
- Audit background preferred
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
