We are seeking an accomplished Finance Director for a well-established organisation headquartered in Galway. This is a strategic leadership role with full financial responsibility across a diverse business portfolio.
The Role
The Finance Director will lead the finance function and play a key role in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction. You will work closely with the board, CEO, and senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance to the business
- Lead a finance team of 8 across accounting, FP&A, and tax
- Own the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process
- Manage banking relationships and treasury functions
- Drive the preparation of statutory accounts and audit process
- Support strategic projects including acquisition evaluation
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 8+ years PQE
- Previous experience at Finance Director or Deputy FD level
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of team development
- Commercial mindset with strong business partnering skills
- Experience in a multi-site or group structure advantageous
